What is a Conservative vs a Liberal? To me a Conservative believes pretty much in the Constitution as written and applied to modern age while a Liberal wants to progressively update the Constitution weakening its powers. I think a subject like Medicare can be adopted by BOTH as a BiPartisan effort. The concept I am after is enlarging the pool for efficiencies sake not the shirking of individual responability. jdn
