Actually, Chelsea has the same "issues" the Bush kids have. But we know about it from the left wing press, not right wingers.

Bush Toy Was Not Much Fun
By Matt Little
The Kansas City Star

Friday 15 August 2003

Dear Blue Box:

With great disappointment, I am returning the George W. Bush “action figure,” which you will find
enclosed in this package. I am seeking a full refund for this defective toy for the following reasons:

• Despite its billing as an action figure to pair up with my GI Joes, it was obviously not made to be a
soldier. Never mind the lack of any scar on its face. The bigger problem is that I cannot find any
weapons of mass destruction anywhere in the box. Heck, I can't find any weapons at all!

• When I pull the string to make it talk, the results are muffled and unintelligible or make no sense at
all. Is this supposed to be some kind of rotten joke on your customers?

• Every time I turn the doll upside down and shake it, white powder comes out. What's with that?

• Even worse, my GI Joe dolls don't seem to like this one at all, and I'm beginning to understand why:

All last week, during the grueling sandbox battles in my backyard between my GI Joes and the
hideous armies of Grog, the GW Bush doll was missing. I thought it was lost for good. But then, after
my GI Joes won the day and made the sandbox safe again, there the Bush doll was, front and center,
looking splendid and unruffled in pristine army fatigues. Evidently it'd been playing dress-up all week
with my sister's Ken doll but was right there to take the credit for the GI Joe's victory.

My GI Joes are all saying that the GW Bush doll is stealing money out of their pockets and giving it
to my sister's Ken and Barbie dolls. I didn't believe this at first, but this afternoon I spied a nice, new
dollhouse in my sister's room and now I'm thinking it must be so.

I'm certain you can understand my desire to return this toy to you. Your quality control supervisor
must be asleep on the job. Frankly, I don't know why you even produced this doll in the first place. If
you value your reputation at all, you will recall it immediately.

All this is terrible, but the worst part of all is that this is not the doll I originally ordered! I carefully
filled out the order form, yet the toy I received was not the one I expected. I wonder how many other
customers ended up with a different “action figure” than the one they requested. I hope the rumor that
you cannot correct this error for two more years is untrue.

Please either send me the action figure I ordered or refund my money. Thank you for your prompt
attention to this matter.
CC

Oh but she does, only worse, and the press has covered for her!

Oxford Weighs Expelling Chelsea for 'Partying'

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton could soon be expelled from prestigious Oxford University if she doesn't mend her hard-partying ways.

MSNBC.com quotes an Oxford University source saying that school officials "are less than thrilled" about all the press that Chelsea's off-campus partying has received.

Photographs of young Clinton staggering bleary-eyed into London bars have appeared in European newspapers and American supermarket tabloids, while the mainstream press has hushed-up reports of the 21-year-old's drinking sprees.

By one account last year, Secret Service agents guarding Miss Clinton told an Aspen, Colo., bartender to cut her off because she had become "sloppy drunk." They feared the former first daughter was about heed requests from male patrons that she perform a table dance, according to Globe magazine.

Oxford is reportedly considering invoking a rule against Clinton requiring students to spend a certain amount of time on campus.

"Students at Oxford are given a great deal of freedom in regard to attending classes, and consequently there are very strict requirements about how much time they have to spend on campus," MSNBC's source said.

"Administrators are looking into whether she's violated those requirements. If she hasn't, she's come close and she will be warned," the source added.

Chelsea's father, ex-President Clinton, attended Oxford as a Rhodes scholar in the late 1960s but dropped out without earning a degree.

Oh, like the right really laid off Chelsea. It was the mainstream media that gave her a break, but no break from the hypocritical rightists:

From your friend Rush (a demigod of the right, or should it be demagogue?):

The commentator Rush Limbaugh joked on Rupert Murdoch's Fox News TV channel: "Everyone knows the Clintons have a cat. Socks is the White House cat. But did you know there is a White House dog?" He then held up a picture of 12-year-old Chelsea.

Or this joke told at a Republican fundraiser by Republican candidate for president McCain:

"Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly?
Because her father is Janet Reno."

McCain later apologized to President Clinton, but not to Chelsea or Janet Reno.

Oh, and John Derbyshire of the National Review:

"But this is all rationalization. More than anything, I admit, I hate Chelsea because she is a Clinton. Not just genetically a Clinton, but in spirit and habit and manner. The evidence for this is now, I think, sufficient to indict. "

So much for your 'blind eye' from the right media. In fact, they were biting their nails to get their jibs in on Chelsea, but one sad fact kept them at bay: she was a good kid.

So, the right is caught in their web of hypocrisy, again. Why not just make it an official Republican party plank and get it over with?
