New York cops record first-ever arrest for Segway theft SmokingGun.com
I had one of these pass me on Kalakaua yesterday. One look told me it is not the wave of the future. It's too big, and scuttles along like a cockroach. People are not going to put up with it on the sidewalk in any quantity. I have read that parts and labor for it are about $1500, which results in a price of $5000. To compete with Mopeds, for instance, it would have to sell for 2K. Not going to happen. And standing up on it for more than 15 minutes would be a drag.

The battleground is in Bagdhad and Afghanistan today. Where was it on 9/11?

I know of hardly anyone who was opposed to Afghanistan's invasion...that part of the war on terror made sense.

The invasion of Iraq? Doomed from the start. World-supported police action against SA would have made far more sense, IMO.
