You make it sound like you're to the right of George Bush. <g> Actually, I've been reading a lot about that theme lately, from disheartened conservatives. I don't personally know anyone to the left of Bush. Funny, that.

I also want a smaller federal government. I would also support decriminalization or legalization of prostitution and other things. I don't however think its reasonable to abolish homeland security. Maybe you just mean the department not the functions but then I don't think you save money. We spent money to shuffle the functions around, now if we change back we probably spend more. I might support some restrictions on the department to control abuses but these would probably also cost more money, a bit for policing the restriction and also more for finding ways to make things reasonably secure without violating the restrictions.
