Derek: There are a handful of people in America who find it impossible to understand that there is a world beyond US borders, with leaders and governments and laws and armies and cultures. The US is just one country among a very large number of countries. We are playing to our strength -- bombing and invading. And now we find that even a "superpower" cannot do much alone in this very big and complex world. Simple minds cannot grasp the nature of the world we live it -- we should avoid electing that kind of person to help helps work out our role in the international community. Some people don't even know there is such a community.
