lurqer,

Thanks for the analysis of the forces that are beginning to take shape in Iraq. FWIW, there's no reason to speculate that Bremer was the anonymous senior official. From what I can tell, there are dozens of senior U.S. officials, both civilian and military, who are deeply immersed in groupthink and self-delusion.

Bush and the NeoCONS are in way over their heads in Iraq...They lied to take us into an elective pre-emptive war and now we're ALL paying the price...Talk about stirring up a hornets nest and driving our country's deficits to SKY HIGH levels. IMO, we were NOT prepared for this occupation and we don't have the resources to do it right. Can anyone admit our foreign policy may be very counter-productive..?

Here's the man who may be able to save our country and provide us with a responsible, multi-lateral foreign policy...

I think he may become 'the Seabiscuit of candidates' and come from behind and win in 2004...He's not a politician BUT he is a man of integrity.
