The link between Saddam and al Qaeda might not have been provable beyond a reasonable doubt, but they shared the common purpose of ousting the U.S. from the Middle East.

Quite a leap of logic to call a common goal a link.

Two deer hunters, one in Maine and one in Georgia, have the same goal, but it does not mean they've ever even met.

But there's no doubt Al Queda is in Iraq now.

I suppose there's something to the flypaper theory, but darned if I can't help feeling that we're the flies.
