This would be all very relevant if Gemesis was anything other than what it most obviously is. A scam. Think for a minim. If you had a machine that would make flawless diamonds, would you crank out 27 of them with plans to make 250 in order to sell the machines? Whoo hah! Of course you would. Why try to make money just selling diamonds? Somebody is bound to find out they are too flawless and blow the whistle on you. And if you could make perfect diamonds why not make them straw yellow, which is the lowest value colour there is, a sign of imperfection of many inclusions and iron in the lattice? Mix it up a little. No sense turning out those deep red, peach, and blue stones. They are just too obviously valuable. Limp a little.
