he promised to bring back industry so they could be taxed to provide everything for the people. Rush takes the "Social Conservative" position. I used to listen to him in the early 90s on my car radio. I had a problem with his social conservatism personally, and I never really believed he really felt that way when he would argue with a libertarian. I thought he was upholding what he knew to be his audience's position to hold them. Just the change in his voice.
