My mind is too open sometimes i think. Every morning i wake up an reevaluate my life, my views etc. I am troubled by iraq but i can still see things working out.
Bush now is my choice but i have this view of him standing in the rubble with us after 9/11. As a New Yorker its a personal thing for me and him as it is with former mayor Giuliani and with police commish and FD head as well. We all stood together when our lives were shattered. This is no small matter for me but it will not prevent me from voting against any of them if a better candidate appeared. It will be a tie breaker though. I voted for Gore because of the isolationist, anti-intellectual bent that the bush campaign seemed to portray. 9/11 changed the isolationist thing or focused it toward an america first fp in any case. Intellectually he turned out not to be so dumb and to surround himself with competent folks. Mike
