that damned free market. Can we resurrect the FDR make-work program? Because we've got extremely high unemployment in the state. I think we need some new murals and public works structures.

How about a gourmet school-lunch program? A lot of trendy SF restaurants with up and coming chefs were put out of business when the dot coms collapsed. Of course we need to pay these chefs more than the school principals make, but it will be worth it.

hey anything is possible if you don't have that dang free market to deal with! Who the hell thought up that free market hogwash anyway! Lets just print more money and freeze everybody's taxes and all will be fine.
