What amazes me is that Thompson is willing to have the monument moved to a less prominent place, but still on public property. Huh? Either it's illegal to have this on public property, or it's not. Number of page views is not a measure of constitutionality. I think he just shot himeself in the foot by that comment.

Personally, I thik Judge Moore should have it covered with a sheet and have a sign posted there "censored by the federal courts."

Well, he's being a little overly sentimental. Some of these people feel genuinely besieged, and not without reason. Anyway, it's not his heart the secular fundamentalists are after, it's the hearts of the following generations.
