Wasn't it already a federal case and that was what all the complaints were about?

Every day of our lives we are faced with situations where we have a choice to quietly work out a problem or make a federal case out of it.

Are yuu, then, suggesting that the right approach to the Roy Moore rock would have been just for those who didn't like it to just walk by and not look at it? They did, of course, choose to make a federal case out of it, quite literally. Are you perchance criticizing that decision? Just want to be clear what you're saying.
