Five months after George W. Bush declared the end of war

Not sure where this came from. It's been 3 2/3 months since the Mission Accomplished strut, and around 5 months since the war began. As for the prescription, "too little, too late". Three months ago, at best a maybe. Now? Sorry.

OTOH, let's consider the source - Fayetteville, NC., Ft. Bragg, 101st Airborne Division, etc. Fayetteville is an Army town in the south - Jesse Helms' state. No matter "how you slice it", this isn't an ultra-lib town. So if the newspaper (The Fayetteville Observer) is expressing views like this, that itself is news to me.
