I thought he said that it was the law to which we are bound.

I'mn not going to go back either, but I seem to recall that the Alabama State Constitution has something about the Juudiciary being bound to apply the law under God, so he feels this is perfectly consistent with his constitutional duty.

I think I read that he used the St James version from Exodus. (eom)
