It depends on the prices when I place my order. But I am looking at Jan 04 12.50, Jan 04 15, or Apr 04 12.50.

I do not like to trade close in options because your timing has to be perfect. Trading further out has saved my butt more than once. Also, the volatility premium is starting to build in the gold stocks and this could add an extra measure of profit to the trade, or if I am wrong reduce my losses.

Another thing I look at is the open interest in the option. I don't want to be in one that has little or no activity as the spreads to get in and out will eat you alive. The options I have mentioned have decent, but not great open interest. Gold Corp options generally don't have great open interest.

Hope this helps,

Little joe
