deeno, so I take it you never read any of these govt budgets prior to today. I'm not surprised. Well guess what we can't go back to 98 levels because it was 6 years ago. We have an inflationary society and the only thing that doesn't rise is prop 13 property taxes.

In 98, unemployment payments were $230 weekly for 6 mos that was it. Today unemployment is $330 weekly for 9 mos. In 98 medical insurance was 40% less. Drug coverage is 200% over what it was then, MINIMUM.

So tell me, I'd love to know, how you propose a "walmart rollback" of medical insurance to 98 levels, can we start with medicare recipients? Can we cut them off completely (since they never paid for anything anyway)- I'M ALL FOR IT. Can we cut off their drug mandates from the federal govt?

I think you have no answers really you just want to "cut waste". Mostly because you want your taxes to stay low. Are you willing to forego all medical services? I am. I'll bet youre not, but even if you are, I'll bet the greedy old folks who vote with you are not. And therein lies the rub.
