Even NPR had a stunningly sympathetic piece yesterday morning

Well, you see, Israel has been practicing restraint, doing diplomacy, following the roadmap - in short, being a 'good' Israel by NPR's lights. That combined with a suicide bomber who just blew up a bus full of small children, makes it difficult for even NPR to be unsympathetic.

Let Israel lift a finger to defend herself, and the tone will change on a dime. Then NPR will again report how "Israel is derailing the peace process".
