Hiya Murrey! How ya doing? I might give it another try......I'm always afraid I'll do something wrong. Called Gateway and they want the computer for 5 days.......for a 10 minute job. It probably wouldn't hurt me to give it up for 5 days. :-) dealer

UPDATE on my computer board. Called Gateway: Gateway says bring it in and you can pick it up in 5 days. Well I got brave....bound and determined to do it myself. Opened the computer.......Hmmmmmm! The board was so big. I twisted it around and got it in the case. Now to find the slots. There they are......Hmmmmmmmm! Slots 3 inches, Board 4 inches. I wondered if I would blow up the computer if the end slots hung out.....can't get it in. Called Gateway: I told them the board doesn't look like it will fit.....he checks and says "yep it will fit"....put it in the brown slot. Okee Dookee says I. Try with all my might. It just ain't gonna fit. I call them again and say "Slot 3 inches, board 4 inches".....he says.....Well if you bring it by I'll look at it. I do. They had ordered me the wrong board. ($200 worth of wrong board) I needed the $65 dollar jobbie. It is now on order and if arrives and has a 3 inch slot......I will be installing it myself. I think. No wonder I think I can't do it myself......ya gotta have the right tools. (To be continued on completion in approx. 5 days.) We need women in the service departments at Gateway. Men! dealie....(Apple sounding beter all the time) :-)
