sirvinny. You said...." Secondly, before presenting a holier than Thou attitude, have you not yourself rejoiced at the deaths of thousands of Iraqis, (our enemy in this battle)? "....

Absolutely NOT! How can your mind even think that way. I would feel great relief that the enemy who is trying to kill us and our way of life is defeated.....but to.... as you say rejoice be because of the deaths of thousands of Iraqi's is a pretty morbid thing to think.

You say " holier than thou attitude "....what is wrong with you? the way I feel about the mass murder of innocent people has nothing to do with a " holier than thou attitude " it has to do with common sense and the ability to know right from wrong.....there is a big difference between mass murder and the accidental death of innocent people during a war and if you can't understand the difference then there is not much hope for you.

I seem to recall News clips of American soldiers burying Iraqi soldiers with their heads facing mecca out of respect for their beliefs.....I seem to recall moslom hordes desecrating American soldiers and celebrating death.

re: The point being made that one might expect the enemy to rejoice.

in an open war it is not normal for the opposite side "to rejoice" the death of the civilians and yet.......

re: But one would not expect same from friends (ie, 5 Israeli spies)

1) it is not clear what did really this 5 iraelis do
2) 5 do not represent the country, after all, king of England admired Hitler and was on Hitlers side even when the war with germany began and yet we do not blame England....
