The number of people drawing jobless benefits for more than one week rose by 41,000 last week to 3.67 million, the highest level since the end of June.

Last week marked the fourth week out of the past five in which claims have been under 400,000. Claims below that level mean a stabilizing labor market but initial claims for the week of Aug. 9 were revised upward by 5,000 to 403,000.

... and I'm sure they'll revise this week's numbers upwards too. They have done it EVERY WEEK!
