How big a sample should pollers take? I think that statistics can abused, and certainly a sample size of this number cannot be 100% reflective of an actual vote. And since the real vote is still over a year away, many things could change.

But what this poll gives us is a snapshot in time of a probable outcome, and that probability is likely +/- 5% from results if the election were held today.

Yeah, I know it's hard to believe, but properly devised samples can tell a lot.
