Somehow I think they suspect that the guy with a coupon walking into Great Clips is probably not a big spender. And that suspicion is confirmed when I tell them to "Cut it real short. I don't like it that way, but I don't want to have to come back for 3 months."

Of course, the fact that they work there probably means that their standards are pretty low. IE having all my teeth probably makes me a catch. <g>
