I'd say enjoy the practice, but I know you will.

You were correct.

:o)

We scrimmaged the other team in our town.
The other coaches and I felt pretty good because even
though our guys were a little bit smaller we beat this
other team on both sides of the ball. It seemed that our
kids were a little more polished.

Anyhow what really made my day was when my son ran the ball
all the way up the length of the field for his first
touchdown ever. He was so happy. Me too. Being a coach I
had to try to be cool about it. Sorta winked at him and
had him slap me five in a nonchelont sort of manor.
Meanwhile we were both busting with joy on the inside.

My younger son also did a nice job on the defensive line
where he was up against some bigger kids. For a peanut
sized kid he didn't seem too intimidated. He really seems
to be enjoying his first year on the team.

I just love this time of year.
