What Deadline?

Re: After 30 some days of recounting it was time to turn the results in. When the deadline comes up it's time to turn the results in.

There was no such deadline. The Constitution was perfectly clear about the procedure to be followed, and the election, by law, could have been resolved by the House of Representatives in late January. All according to the Constitution and the precedent of the 1876 election.

What the U.S. Supreme Court engaged in was a completely illegal and dubious invasion of the prerogatives of the states. It clearly violated the 10th Amendment of the Bill of Rights. The Supreme Court acted illegally, and knew it. That was why they inserted that chicken-stuff proviso about their ruling not serving as a precedent.

Bush is the malevolent spawn of a judicial coup d'etat.
