It was Rambi, not Karen.

And the reason it provoked all that discussion was that I found the very idea that you would assume an athiest would pull a stunt like that to be, er, bigoted, for lack of a better word. An athiest would do just what a Muslim or a Wiccan or anyone else would do under those circumstances--give a dignified and appropriate message in his or her own tradition. Heathens are no more uncouth than anyone else.
