yeah -- my post was tongue-in-cheek -- SOX is a highway to heck. No there, there ... no way in heck it recovers -- even if the Fed succeeds in meeting its target inflation rate of 12% per annum -- won't do them a bit of good -- not one little bit. Their only business right now is paper. Cap ex is NOT going to recover for years -- bankers have guaranteed that missallocated capital cannot be freed up to more productive uses. Aren't you glad you don't work for AMAT or KLAC or ... tee hee hee ... INTC. If I worked there I would have a direct investment plan -- 30% of the paycheck, at least, straight into precious metals.
