What do you mean planned sales? Planned a couple days ahead of time... lolz... The float was less than 4 million a couple months ago... They didn't start this selling binge until after the lawsuit was filed. The only thing stopping mcbride is the fact that his shares are restricted. If they were convinced they were going to win,,, don'tcha think they'd hold on to them shares????? As far as when this is going to be resolved? When they show the supposed copied code. When will that be? Maybe after one of the end user's they're trying extort money from sues them. Who knows. What they've shown so far is a freaking joke. In one case 30 year old code that wouldn't even compile. A couple of points. SCO has done nothing to MITIGATE their damages with the exception of taking their linux product off the market. This is going to look really bad in any court case against a linux user, let alone against IBM so beyond the IBM case SCO has shot theirselves in the foot big time. So this brings us to the IBM case. Nobody knows the details yet, but if they are so stupid that they would post the peice of code they said was copied that was open source, what makes anyone think their case against IBM(who probably contributed WAY more IP to their JV) will be successful? This thing is going to take YEARS to go to trial. The likelihood that anyone at SCO will be getting money anytime soon is almost zero. Meanwhile look forward to more dilution, hype, FUD and lawsuits from the linux community. Last,let's say they win this lawsuit, and the get a couple hundred mil.(3 billion is a joke by any measure). Who is going to buy their products? NOBODY, because they will fear being sued. Real smart business model don'tcha think??? Oh, and another interesting thought, if this was an open and shut case, considering SCO licensed to MSFT and SUNW, why hasn't MSFT bot them up and squashed IBM and Linux? V Canopy group and others will continue to manipulate this turd as long as they can but it will eventually go to zero.
