I agree with tooearly, that Sornette has been in fact
pretty darn bad the last year or two, and tooearly follows his updates pretty closely, as he's the one that usually posts them here. Even the diehard bears on this board only give him passing notice. I feel that trying to play his charts in any way are almost a guarantee that your stops will get blown out unless you get in well after a trend has developed that just happens to coincide with one of his predicted movements. In that case it's more luck rather than anything else.

Would you care to elaborate, with specifics, on why you think he has been good?

Sornette is a closet Elliottician at least in one sense - he seems to be "re-counting" and offer different "alternates" as he moves along... -g.
