Tom,
the official P&F strategy would be to wait for the reversal. I prefer to mix conventional charting and not wait for the reversal.

It's kind of quiet in those hallowed halls these days, but many of the former regulars on that thread have migrated over here.

In general, you'd like to see some good base building (several short columns of X's and O's) before you get in after a break like you saw in that chart, but as with anything else you end up having to "do it your way", and there are exceptions to every rule. Jorj showed a standard p&f chart for PFE that would indicate a reasonable entry right near where PFE is at today, while I threw up a percentage p&f chart. Different views are good, because sometimes one view will give you reason to do something that another one might give no clue about.
