Boy, you're on a tear!

But explain to me, please, how a chunk of stone sitting on the floor bullies anybody. The stone does nothing but sit there. Every individual chooses how they want to react to it. Chooses is the key word here. You can choose to ignore it. You can choose to approve of it. You can choose to disapprove of it. You can choose, I suppose, to believe that the chunk of stone has knives and is about to come to life and stab you to death, but it's not a very realistic choice.

Your attitude, that the stone is like an active bunch of bullies with knives standing on the corner, is more akin to the fears that kept Jim Crow alive -- the fear Southern women were taught that every black man they saw was a animal who wanted nothing more than to get them alone, rip their clothes off them, and brutally rape them. That was pure prejudice. Putting your own fears on another person. Same thing with those who you claim think the rock is bullying them. It's all in their heads, with no reality at all.

If you can explain to me how an inert chunk of rock which you're free to ignore can in fact bully you and threaten you with knives, I'm happy to listen. Othewise, I think you need to admit that your whole premise is, well, hyperventilating.
