The resolve of the UN and the RC shine thru once again.

Another reason not to fund either.

A win for the bad guys.

Yeah, reminds me of early days in Korea.

When those Terrorist bombs begin to thud,
the NGO's begin to bug.
It's the "bug-out boogie

Watch out, Martha, here's comes the smut! NY Daily News

Arnold Schwarzenegger is bracing for a racy biography that could tarnish his campaign for California governor.

Wendy Leigh published her first volume on Schwarzenegger, "Arnold: An Unauthorized Biography," in 1990. Now she's shopping an updated version that promises fresh dirt.

"I've got lots of new material," she told us from her home in London. "I've got material I held back from the original book. There are some major revelations," but she refused to provide details.

It was in the unauthorized bio, however, that Leigh first revealed that Ah-nold's father had been a Nazi.

In 1993, the action star won an undisclosed cash settlement from a U.K. tabloid over a story on which Leigh shared a byline.

Leigh hinted that now she would scru- tinize Arnie's reputation as a womanizer.

A rep for Schwarzenegger told us, "Considering all the important issues at hand in light of the gubernatorial race and the state of California, I can't imagine he's given it a second's thought."

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (Reuters) - In a moving and personal tribute, U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan on Saturday vowed to complete the work of Sergio Vieira de Mello, the U.N. envoy to Iraq killed in Tuesday's bomb blast. ...

``His dying wish was that the United Nations Mission there (in Iraq) should not be pulled out. Let us respect that. Let Sergio, who has given his life in that cause, find a fitting memorial in a free and sovereign Iraq,'' Annan said after embracing Vieira de Mello's 83-year-old mother.
...

Yes, some UN employees will leave. But many others will remain. Provisional offices have been erected in containers and tents as the UN building is no longer usable. The WHO, UNICEF and other organizations remain fully staffed.
