Hi exmed, <<(CHU and CHL), which one of the two will continue to grow market share the fastest in China?
do you use either company's service?>>

I am guessing, but have the impression that CHL's GSM subscriber base is much bigger (100 to 1?) than CHU's CDMA subscriber base, and given low base, CHU base may be growing faster than CHL base. GSM coverage is simply everywhere, including elevators and tunnels. CDMA coverage is just starting. I think it is hard to pick winner, and when I buy back China shares, I will buy both.

My HK-based GSM service (SonyEricsson P800 dual-SIM triband GSM plus GPRS internet) has a HK CSL1010 SIM and a China CHL Sim, and will roam onto CHU's GSM network when necessary. No CDMA for me, yet, if ever, if China finally adopts own CDMA-variant standard.

Chugs, Jay
