And equally, your argument that it is harmful rests on nothing more than that you think it is harmful. The dominant are typically oblivious to or dismissive of the harm done to others. While I recognize that the others may sometimes exaggerate or imagine harm where it does not exist, there is usually some basis, and to dismiss claims of harm so cavalierly... Well, claims of harm should be given the benefit of the doubt and considered fully and openly, not dismissed as tough-luck-majority-rules. There have been a lot of points made here about why it is harmful and none has gotten fair consideration that I can see.
