One of my oldest and most trusted TA friends gave me a sell 2 days ago on COVD at about 2.58 I think. I had an old account with about 500 shares so I sold. I stayed with my large account that is active but just wanted to test him on this as he has been very very helpful in the past. I was suspect because, as you say, on breakout moves, there really is no history. Going back to 2-3 years, gives a 3.66 former high I believe. But I don't think people have 2 year memories in the market of today. Long term to most means a month or two.
