I bought the 30 year bond front month contract at 106 24/32 and sold it at 107 when it stalled there. 107 1/31 is R1 and 107 3/32 was the high of the day. Great trade (250/contract) 8 ticks buys a tank of gas in my SUV even at these prices.

Two or three minutes after I close (they did give me the opportunity to buy 106 31/32 which I declined) the thing spikes to 107 16/32, meaning I left 500 more on the table.

Even if you make a few cents in this it still sucks.

cashable after 1 yr with a 3 month interest penalty.
