Colonel David Hackworth lied about his age so he could join the Army at the age of 15 and fight in WWII. He served in combat in Korea and then went on to become the most decorated veteran of the Vietnam War. His primary mission these days is to tirelessly work to improve the lot of the "average" soldier who does 99% of the defense of this country.
