Look at it from my perspective. An outsider to the discussion and only vaguely remember anything about either of you. You complained about a post. I went to look at the post and checked the replies and saw an equally blatant if not worse violation of the rules in what appears to be a nothing thread. In fact, isn't that a reincarnation of some POS penny thread from years ago? The dead live? MTEI? Anyway, you can make it really simple. If you're going to complain about a post, it's really a good idea to not have a reply to it that's also a violation. And, no, I'm not going to inspect 18 months worth of posts to see who drew first blood. 2 posts, one from each person, and each a violation really tells me all I care to know at the time. If one is worse than the other, they'll show their stripes to me eventually, as seems to have happened today.
