No the truce ended with the bombing that Hamas claimed credit for. Israel then retaliated by killing the Hamas leader. Apparently Hamas want's people to think that if they are attacking and Israel is not then there is a truce, and if Israel fights back then it is causing the end of the truce... Why do you feel the need to lie about this? In reality, Israel broke the truce on August 8. Hamas retaliated once, but then agreed to renew the truce. Israel struck again on August 14, Hamas retaliated but did not call off the truce. Finally, after Israel's 3rd attack on August 21, Hamas decided to call off the truce. gush-shalom.org Iqbal was correct in his skepticism of the cease-fire, because: <<< . . .
