This month reminds me of a balmy August 16 years ago bigcharts.marketwatch.com ...and now: bigcharts.marketwatch.com Just multiply the numbers on the y-axis by 3 and you've pretty much got where we've been, and where we're going. Rates were rising then. Foolish administration officials were saying (and doing) foolish things to spook foreign bagholders. Yeh, I know, "This time it's different!"<G>

sold about a third of my gold longs and went short w/ about 10% of my portfolio... god help us all :)
