Steve, Hamidi is hardly the worst Davis opponent. For that (dis)honor, I'd probably choose Larry Flynt. As for the Beamer, it works great. Lots of power to satisfy my remaining youthful urges, and generally a fun car to drive. It sounds cliche, but seriously, I'll have a tough time considering any other make in the future. One minor glitch in the electrical system, though. I'll get that checked out on my first oil change at 15K. By the way, I just got it registered before Davis' tripling of the car tax goes into effect. So instead of $650 for the year, I "only" pay $250. That's OK, though. CA roads seem to be very modern and well-maintained. Still jammed like crazy, but what can you do? The OC here already has a huge network of highways, not like Portland or Seattle. Tenchusatsu
