That is actually just the kind of press that a bull run needs in order to keep going. One more wave up here to $400-$430 and then we should have a rest for 6-12 months IMO.

Good quantification of this key variable. I think we can assume that a flood of stock "flipping" emerges when the four month holds come off the restricted paper in Nov-Dec. We've seen that happen every time there is a Canadian PM underwriting cycle and this one is doozy. The market should start to anticipate that (the distribution) even sooner IMHO. The first half of 04 will be the time to return to the sector for the purpose of combing over the remaining and marked down cash rich companies. There will be some dandies, but start taking profits now to build a war chest for this.

Further, the incredible commercial short position of 125,730 contracts should be ignored at one's peril. It's been a fun and enriching ride though, alot like the great spring 02 liftoff.
