Thomas, Re: Okay, now this is my definition of a slug. He's complaining that Americans aren't violent and vengeful enough. The author, Michael Oren, is Jewish and lives in Jerusalem. He moved from the U.S. in the 1970's in order to be closer to the "action" and to support his cause of Zionism. He merely wants all Americans to give up a sane life and enter into madness as he has done. Compared to Oren's suggestion we all become religious warriors, Bush's suggestion after 9/11 about all good Americans going out to do some shopping seems remarkably more sane. Or at least safe.
