Anybody here REALLY believe that these guys would give a rat's ass about the poor old codgers if a change in Prop. 13 didn't threaten their own windfall ? Oh, unless it's their parents and they stand to inherit the house and benefit from the absurdly low tax rate that comes with it.

They sure don't give a sh*t about the lifelong renter class that's developing below them.

Hey : I'm a beneficiary of Prop. 13, holding a property at a locked in lower tax rate over a long term. This law is wrong. The freeloaders are blowing smoke.

Change it for all.

Tough love for the Prop. 13 welfare crowd.
