Environmentalists and tort lawyers have the same effect. They cost working Americans a fortune, and the "establishment" left wing media hides the story. A conservative think tank should publish an index-but none of them do, as far as I know.

The cost of ignorance is the greatest of all taxes imposed by the Marxist/Leninist anti-American left-and the greatest secret kept by the combination of the Democratic party, the fading left wing press, and our intellectually-bankrupt and culturally-corrupt academia.

I don't know why, but Arianna Huffington reminds me of John Huston's timeless line in "Chinatown":
