<Its all about "Sphere of Influence" and ours is increasing.....> Our "sphere of influence" is vanishing. We have been losing credibility daily in Iraq. Our policy of "go-it-alone" means we end up more-and-more alone. We needed to be more and more connected -- but instead we chose a policy of being more and more disconnected. If this is a "plan", it is one concocted by fools on a fools errand. Our military, which only a few months from now seemed invincible, now appears oddly out of step with the real requirements of an effective army occupation and guerilla warfare. Worse, it is increasingly obvious that we are stretched too thin and over-committed -- unable to address real concerns such as North Korea while sadly bogged-down and alone in Iraq. The "plan", if that is what you want to call it (it was more wishful thinking than "plan") is emitting a stench -- the stench of isolation. We wanted to "go-it-alone" -- and now we are alone.
