No comparison to Vietnam where casualty rates were literally ten times higher. Single regiments in WWII and Korea would take 50 casualties a day. Vietnam casualties averaged over 500 a month. At that rate the coalition would have lost over 3000 KIA in Iraq, but hasn't..has only lost about 240.

A quagmire is not determined by the number of deaths. By definition, a quagmire is "a difficult, precarious, or entrapping position". Then by definition, Iraq is becoming a quagmire.
