It's one of the more reliable candlestick formations that occurred last Thursday, it indicates a short term trend reversal. You can look it up in the glossary here:

litwick.com

I'm still learning about candlesticks and how to use them but the psychology behind them is very interesting. I don't have a degree in economics but if given a choice I think I'd rather have a degree in psychology to trade this market <g>.

You're right about the put liquidity...... I'm taking a wait and see attitude since the fed has several reports coming out through Weds. and if they're good then the market might surge if not then I'd like to have a short list ready. I heard Rukeyser and some other
Guru were on one of the news programs saying they didn't think there would be any pull back in Sept and Oct......that I haven't verified yet (that they said that.) Murphy was on cnbc last Fri and looked like he was going to start railing on some of the chip stocks (INTC?)when BAM he was preempted by a Bush up in Oregon mumbling something about hugging trees.......ARGH!

Thanks for your input

Well George, I took you're sage advice and started shorting TERN the other day at 7.95, looks like I should have followed through yesterday and built up my position. Shorting with stock has always scared the bejesus out of me. I'd rather err on the side of caution......
