Cary, That is not what happened in the last run going up the bubble from 10/8/98 to the peaks of each stock in 2000. The following table shows the results. TER did the best of the 4 semi-equip stocks in the SOX, but was in 7th place out of the 25 stocks in the Group. AMAT wound up in 10th place, NVLS in 12th place, and KLAC in 15th place. I will bet you a big steak dinner that not all of the 3 stocks you mentioned will be in the top 10. As a matter of fact, any of the 3 will be lucky to make it into the top 10 IMO. Off the present bottom of 10/9/02, in the Group of 25, TER is in 13th, KLAC 17th, AMAT 18th, and NVLS 19th place.
