I posted the chart as an example of how to draw an elliot expanding triangle or a "spando". I assumed you were the creator of the chart so I posted it to you. If you look at the top of the bkx chart there is little spando. It's an old chart from nov 02 but I posted to illustrate the technique. The method used on the vle is incorrect. There may be a spando in there but the upper tl is drawn incorrectly.

The vle one should be drawn with the upper trend line connecting points b and d. As I stated before the origin of A is not used.

It's surely possible that bkx and whatever else goes higher. I try not to have too many opinions as I've found they can get me in trouble.

btw one important feature of raging bull markets is the sector rolling corrections within the larger bull market uptrend...the BKX has been in a large trading range area going sideways for over 5 years and is closer to it's all time highs than most other major indexes....taking a pause here, should it choose to do so, while the rest catch up is part of that rolling correction feature of a bull market imo...

This is a good observation. Much like the golds are led by the miners for a while then the physical and they kind of switch off. Keeps everyone guessing as the whole ball of wax moves higher.
